Wardrobe selection: Coordinating your family's outfits can enhance the overall aesthetic of the photos. It's important to choose clothing that complements each other without being too matchy-matchy. Selecting a meaningful location: A great family photoshoot often takes place in a location that holds sentimental value for your family, such as a park, beach, family home, or a place you frequently visit together. The chosen location sets the backdrop for your photos. If there is no where that is meaningful or if you want a specific background, I have a list of beautiful locations that will guarantee the best lighting.

The process begins with clear communication between us. We will talk about your vision, style preferences, location, and any specific ideas you have in mind. If you do not have anything specific in mind, I would love to discuss options of my own ideas.
Pre-Shoot Planning

Your photoshoot experience will be one that creates lasting memories and captures the essence of your family's unique bond. The starting cost is $650 for up to 1 hour and this is what is included
Professional editing: After the shoot, I will select the best images and professionally edit them to enhance colors, sharpness, and overall quality. Editing should be subtle, preserving the authenticity of the photos. You will be receiving all of the approved images that I take during my time with you. Approved images means that I will remove the ones where eyes are closed or the lighting was too light or too dark. I give you all of the approved images rather than a certain set amount because there will be way too many good ones to choose from!
Post-Processing

A mix of posed and unposed shots: A balanced approach includes some posed family portraits where everyone is looking at the camera, as well as unposed moments that reflect your family's personality and connection.
• Relaxed atmosphere: I will create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere during the shoot. This helps family members feel at ease, enabling natural and genuine expressions to shine through.
• Timing and lighting: The photoshoot is often schedule the shoot during the golden hours (early morning or late afternoon) when natural light is soft and flattering. This ensures that the photos have a warm and inviting quality.
• Candid moments: The best family photos capture genuine emotions and interactions. I will encourage candid moments, such as laughter, hugs, or play, to showcase your family's unique dynamics.
• Patience and flexibility: Children, in particular, may need breaks or have unpredictable moods. I understand that sometimes they have their moments. Over the years of being a photographer I have learned and created many fun things for them to do during the session to aim to keep their moods happy. Even if those moods change, emotions are good!

Collaborative process: You and your family will have the opportunity to view and select your favorite photos on a high resolution downloadable gallery, Your gallery will be active for 3 months after the final gallery delivery date and you may download the images as many times as you'd like on as many devices you'd like. The link attached to your gallery can be sent to anyone of your choice so they can have these memories too.

True to your family's identity: Ultimately, your experience reflects the unique personality, love, and connection within your family and loved ones. It should capture the essence of who you are at that moment in your lives. When you look back on these images my goal is not only for you to remember the image itself but how you felt when that image was taken. Every emotion, why you were laughing, what game your kids were playing and how proud you were of the life that you've built.

Family heirlooms: The photoshoot results in images that become cherished family heirlooms. They capture a moment in time and can be displayed in your home or shared with loved ones. I offer a wide selection of prints such as albums, holiday cards, wall frames, canvas', calendars and much much more.
